During my labor & delivery having Joy by my side was a gift. She was steadfast in her support  & guidance during my 36 hours + long labor. She was by my side the entire time and I could not have gotten through that without her. My long labor  was complex, she explained things to us and helped my husband understand each scenario as they arose all while staying up with me overnight.

On top of the incredible comfort and support she provided during my labor, she also provided informative classes to my husband and I during my pregnancy. These birthing courses allowed us to build a relationship and answered many questions for us. We really appreciated her approach and feel our transition to parenthood was much smoother from the exercises she had us work through together. 

I would highly recommend Joy as a doula for anyone looking for someone who will truly understand your birth wishes and support you no matter what direction your L&D ends up taking.
